In collaboration with young international artists and during a 6-month to one year period, our project is intended to direct and to broadcast a video report.
The Drum Bun project (“Have a good trip” in Romanian), is a social and cultural initiative; it is a human-scale project which encourages people to rediscover Art as it has never been seen, by revealing new dimensions from it - especially social ones.
At a time when society is increasingly individualistic and when solitude is considered to be a "Big National Cause" in France, the Drum Bun video report will give some answer to the following questions: How are approached the exchange and sharing through art in communities with different cultures? How Art, as " the creation or human activities", can create "living together" times? Or, how Art gives rise to a collective awareness through exchange and participation?
In order to answer these questions in the most authentic and sincere way possible, we will “infiltrate” the big “artistic and cultural doors” in each country, at small, medium or large scale festivals in which Art is a vehicle of exchanges. Then we will take a chance to work with smaller artistic communities, by means of “social networks” discovered once on the ground.
This will enable us to dive into the heart of countries and to discover alternative ways taken by renown artists or locals, to understand how each person, including
the young generations, at their own level, can make her/his contribution, and what are the different ways to get onto participation and sharing through art in the
comunity in question.
In this perspective our camera will film the workmanship and the authentic life moments of worldwide artists as well as artistic events during a several-month journey
that will take you through America, Asia and Europe.
The video report will be broadcasted at our return in 2012. Meanwhile the website will enable you to follow us around the world.

Where does "DRUM BUN" name come from ?
The idea of the project was born 7 years ago: three years after our encounter and after our participation to numerous and anthentic cultural events. However, the DRUMBUN Project really took shape during a trip in Romania, hence the Romanian name that we gave to it: Drum Bun means "have a nice trip"...
..."Have a nice trip" in this adventure during which you will discover art as it has never been seen,as well as its role in the current society.
